Binder+Co, successful Waagner-Biro Group company, celebrates its 110th birthday

Thanks to its leading products in the spheres of processing and packaging technology, Binder+Co enjoys a global reputation, with customers in 47 countries. On the occasion of our anniversary, the celebrations marking 110 years of the company’s existence were appropriately large-scale: On 23rd and 24th September, guests and partners flocked to Gleisdorf from Europe, Asia, the USA and Africa.

Along with customers of long standing such as DABMAR from South Africa and Welser Baustoffrecycling (WBR), the Executive Board also welcomed guests from the fields of politics, business and the media. We were especially pleased to receive our partners from the research and development area, particularly the University of Leoben, the Austrian Research Centre (ARC) at Seibersdorf and Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute. All of these have developed close working relationships with Binder+Co over many years, thereby making a substantial contribution to the success of our company.

The Binder+Co Group, which has branch establishments in Gleisdorf and Denver, USA, is the technological leader in screening technology for hard-to-screen bulk material and in glass recycling. Binder+Co is itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Waagner-Biro Group.
