Dr. Karl Grabner
  • Born in Pöllau/Styria in 1959.
  • Married, three children.
  • Member of the Management Board since January 1, 2000.
  • Responsible for finance and general administration, engineering, production and investor relations.
  • Current appointment period until December 31, 2010.

After completing his studies in mechanical engineering from 1986 to 1990, he was awarded a doctorate (experimental work in the field of conveying technology) parallel to his position as research associate at the Institute of Conveying Technology and Design at the Mining University of Leoben.  Since 1990 he has had a number of scientific reports and works in the field of conveying technology published.

In the framework of the “Scientists for the Economy” campaign instituted by the Federal Ministry of Science and Research, Dr. Grabner joined Binder+Co AG in 1991 and was responsible for the areas of project planning and sales from 1992 to 1999. In 2000 he was appointed member of the board and took over operational responsibility for the Gleisdorf works. At the same time he was acting member of the board of PSI Inc., Denver, USA – a packaging technology subsidiary hived off in 2005. From 2002 to 2004 Dr. Grabner was furthermore a member of the supervisory board of the ÖSWAG shipbuilding and engineering company, Linz, which is no longer part of the Binder Group. In 2006 he supervised the initial public offering of Binder+Co.

From 1995 to 2001 he was in the standards committee for continuous conveyors, and from 1997 to 2001 head of research projects in collaboration with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency and the Styrian Business Promotion Agency.

Mag. Jörg Rosegger
  • Born in Bruck an der Mur in 1966.
  • Married, two children.
  • Member of the Management Board since January 1, 2007.
  • Responsible for sales at Binder+Co and for the business management of the Statec Binder GmbH subsidiary.
  • Current appointment period until December 31, 2009.

While studying business administration at Graz University (specialisation in marketing and industrial management) he spent one year at Butler University, Indianapolis,  USA as part of the International Student Exchange Program.

After completing his studies in 1993, he joined Binder+Co AG as assistant to the management board and head of marketing. In 1995, he was appointed product manager for packaging technology, of which he became divisional head in 1997. In 2000 he became director of marketing and sales with power of procuration. He has been a member of the board of Binder+Co AG since 2007.
